"THE YEAR 2016 Goes and 2017 Creeps in AFCC MUSIC Ministry..."

For the eleven years since we joined this ministry, we together as a team came a long-long way in serving the greatest God of all!!! Through your sacrifices and commitment, we altogether poured the foundation and built the structure of this ministry so we can effectively serve and walk with God without doubts and hesitations…

This coming year, we will strive more to serve our loving and beautiful living God to “perfection”- in other words, all team leaders and members will be more involved in their team than before. The Worship Team1 will become lesser and lesser until its go bye-bye and some of the members will evolved with the Youth, Team2b, G-Men, and the Women Worship team to lead the AFCC music ministry. Either our loving God will send a new music ministry director in the near future or he/she is already amongst you.. (-: As suggested during our 2nd Bi-Annual meeting, we may be meeting sometime in the summer before or after the Annual Camping to “Worship Together in Music” during a Saturday. We also downgraded our Bi-Annual meetings into just one meeting (if necessary) during the summer… Finally, we keep on continually train new worship team leaders as we move people where God wants them to be…

We again and again thank everyone of you and together with all the parents and guardians who sacrificed their time and resources in supporting the AFCC Music Ministry... Happy New Year to Everyone!!!!

"THE YEAR 2015 Blends Into 2016 in AFCC MUSIC Ministry..."
Serving the greatest God of all is always larger than life… As time passed by, His works became apparent and visible to our eyes that we evolved into it as part of the whole functionality…

We will be in our tenth year since we joined this ministry on March 2006… And the good and inevitable thing is that me, my beloved wife Amy, my son Jerone and his wife Wendy, and Nana with Koko have been in our “descending” side of our calling in AFCC to where we spent every second wisely and resourcefully in serving God for his purpose...

We will be teaching another guitar class and other musical instruments enhancement sessions during 2016. By the grace of our great and loving God, younger and new members are already eager to follow our footsteps in serving. We will continually train new worship team leaders as we move people where God wants them to be…

We again and again thank everyone of you and together with all the parents and guardians who sacrificed their time and resources in supporting the AFCC Music Ministry... Happy New Year to Everyone!!!!

"THE YEAR 2014 Meets 2015 in AFCC MUSIC Ministry..."

Another year of an exciting ministry in music is slowly passing by and the entry of the year 2015 is nothing but "inevitable"... The beauty is...with Him, the music frequency that is coming from your good and humbled heart is always in perfect harmony...(-:
We thank everyone of you and together with all the parents and guardians who sacrificed their time and resources in supporting the AFCC Music Ministry... Your dedication in serving the true living God will never be gone unnoticed... There is always a giant spark of gratitude in God's Kingdom in every time we serve Him without hesitation for expanding His purpose... Through the years, some members came and go but most of us joyfully built a foundation that might last a long-long time within the memories of the AFCC family... For as long as there is but one who will remember our team working as one body- from the past and as of today- then our memories lives...
          Happy New Year to Everyone!!!!

"2013  REFLECTIONs Going to 2014..."

We are "cruising" into our 8thYear (believe it or not!) as your Music Ministry servant-leaders and its just getting more exciting and interesting as we are approaching the future...
Through the years, we are fortunate enough to witness, and sometimes a part of how God's hands move along with the AFCC in this area of ministry...
We've seen boys and girls grown up into young men and women who are willingly supports this ministry while the younger one wasted no time to follow their footsteps...We've seen people who do not have any musical experience but stepped out anyway to lead the congregation when needed...We've also shared sweat, tears and laughter and walked together through the paths of enduring rehearsals that complimented each member's real commitment in serving the greatest God of All!!! We humbly experienced that a good heart who follows God is the main component in serving this ministry but not undermining the musical talent and skills...Furthermore, the building of the Hope Activity Center is a blast in displaying the church as one "body" of how the members of the AFCC worked joyfully in one accord...
By His guidance and provision, we hope that what we left behind us may be compelling and asserting years of molding this ministry into more stable and more efficient way of leadership that will be pass on today and to the future music ministry leaders...
Happy New Year to all once again and may the grace of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit through our Lord Jesus be with us all forever...

______________________________

" The MIDYEAR Of 2013..."

For the last few weeks, we have been rotating teams and cross training members in musical instruments so everyone will have a chance to participate in AFCC music ministry with a lot of flexibility...The outcome was so encouraging because of all members willingness in sharing to serve the greatest God of all!...It frees up some time to "full time" worship team leaders for having the chance to do some other ministry in the church or simply a much needed break/rest...

Let us be aware in making the most out of the "resources" that God has provided for us through the guidance of the Holy Spirit...When we served, let us serve wholly TODAY and not worrying about yesterday or tomorrow...

Where do the Worship Team Ministry stand right now?....We are slowly incorporating the Youth Live Accompaniment group into the main Live Accompaniment Worship Team1 flow while the Youth Vocals were scheduled in Minus One Accompaniment to enhance their vocalization ability...The youngest kids WorshipTeam2b is also actively participating in the mix while the Men Worship Team were eagerly sharing their talents!...Most of the times, we are really amazed about the abundance of musical talents in this church...Its really a great honor to be working together with all of this ministry members and so humbled in witnessing about how our great and beautiful God is working through our life...As more new prospective members are "waiting" patiently within our God's perfect timing to join us, our rotation may be more frequent within our groups especially in the Worship Team1...

....And always a reminder to all worship team members...

"So if you are presenting a sacrifice at the altar in the Temple and you suddenly remember that someone has something against you, leave your sacrifice there at the altar. Go and be reconciled with that person. Then come and offer your sacrifice to God. " -Matthew 6:23-24

Thank you for your ministry and may the grace of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit through our Lord Jesus Christ be with us all forever and ever....

2nd 2013 Bi-Annual WorshipTeams Meeting__________________

November 3, 2013 @ 1:30pm

AGENDA:

-----OPENING PRAYER...

Acknowledgement...

"A warm THANK YOU TO EVERYONE..."

 I. Where are we right now...???

            - By the grace of our great God, we are now having THREE Worship Team rotations ( WTeam1w/ Live/Music AccTeam, KidsWtTeam2b, and the MENWTeam)...

            - We reinforced the Minus One Accompaniment System into All-Season Program Capability...This accompaniment will supplement the Live Acc group if not available and it may be able to run the Worship Team Ministry in minimal personage or music instrument skills...We call this the "Miracle Worker"  for its consistency...

-We would be able to implement structure in this ministry by working with the ELT for the Codes of Ethics and Regulations...With this, we will be able to standardized and      in a consistent basis without guessing what to come next...

 II. What do we need?

            - We are on the descending side of our calling and we need to train good and committed leader(s) and members to be able to guide these ministry...

III. Our ongoing plans as follows below...

1. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES.

     A. Rehearsals

          a) Full Rehearsals on Saturdays or when noted and specified are very important.

Full rehearsal is the CORE of this ministry...Its the foundation of our worship team to be fully share God's message in our very best through music to the congregation!

          b) Skilled Percussionist(drums, congas, tambourine, etc) may join us and by the Worship Team Leader discretion without rehearsal during the service but have to be available during the "warm up" rehearsal before the Prayer Gathering.

      B. Vacation or a Day Off.

Let us know at least ONE week for a one service day off request and TWO weeks before a long extended vacation request so we can plan accordingly...You are responsible in letting us know about your availability through E-Mail...Effeciently, E-MAIL is always our main channel of communication and documentation -so always check your email for updates...

       C. Involvement and Participation.

         To be able to serve our great-great God with all our heart, all our strength, and all our soul, all worship team members should at least actively participating in one of the following;

          *Bible Study,

          *Sunday School Classes,

*or a regular involvement in any of the church ministry such as G-Men, WINGs,...etc...

Also reading the Bible regularly and truthfully will keep us within His ways and plans...It will be impossible to serve God without any connection and application with His Word...Failure to comply with this obligation will make your membership weaker in this ministry and we will review your involvement and your priorities. Always put in your heart and mind that we are here to honor ONE true God alone and not anything or anybody else...

We are not just a "show" infront of the congregation during the service but a humble servants of Christ. With the Holy Spirit, we hope to open the heart of our brothers and sisters so that the Word of our amazing God will able to embrace and transform us to where He wants us to be...

The minutes below was the concensus outcome from the...

1st --2014 Bi-Annual

ALL-WorshipTeamsMeeting

March 16, 2014 @ 1:30pm

AGENDA:

-----OPENING PRAYER...

Acknowledgement...

"A warm THANK YOU TO EVERYONE..."

The famous question: Where are we right now...???

….We glanced to where we left off last year and shared the results and outcome together...

FUTURE PLANS and ACTIVITIES real time outcome…

A.           We will keep on incorporating the younger live accompaniment and vocals group into the Main Worship Team1.

-----The Youth Live Accompaniment Team are really getting together and remarkably improved their team independently…We did incorporate them with the Main Worship Team1 for experience---and now they will be able to lead the congregation on their own…(Asked the Youth Leader for her input and was supported by most members in her team)

B.           The Kids Worship Team2b will have more active participation in our rotation...

-----Of course, the KidsWorshipTeam2b apparently are letting us know that they are around…Their 2013 December ministry helped the carolers to go on…(Asked the KidsWorshipTeam2b for their input but not ready yet)

C.           Training a qualified Sound Technician.

---- For your information, Sound Technician is a very important part of any Worship Team…The audio outcome and how well it will be delivered will always depends of how good is your Sound Technician is…They might not be in front but they are a very vital part of the whole outcome of this ministry…If you want to be trained then ask Mark Cadatal for details...The training will take up to four Sundays to complete…(Asked  Mark Cadatal for any input)

D.           The MEN Worship will occasionally joining the ministry as available...

----and of course the Men  are on top of everything!!.... Our next goal is to expand their ministry flexibility and to train them in MinusOne Accompaniment…(-: (But the Men DECLINED this option during the meeting)

E.           We may train guitar players for the 2014+ Caroling and we will keep on  cross-training our instrument players for flexibility and dependability in the course of the year...

-------We did the cross-training alright and it turned out great although It seems that Sonny will be the last one in this breed if no one will be trained to lead the carolers in live music…Anyway, MinusOneAccompaniment is available in Caroling ministry if really-really needed.

F.            If there are any qualified interest then we will be training more future worship team leader(s)...

G.           (We omitted this part for no one showed up in this team) And speaking for more leaders….let us welcome the AFCC Teen Worship Team 2C…(ask  members to introduce themselves…Ask for input if any or else…continue to…)

CONCLUSION:

------The pleasant side of this ministry is that we have a lot of possible leader but a possible future “director” is yet to step forward from this batch or maybe coming from the outside?...We’ll see…All we can positively and absolutely hope for is that God will always show us the way in His time…

CLOSING PRAYER.

D.           The MEN Worship Team.

They are now included in the regular rotation schedule...

Passage Proverbs 9:7-9
7 Anyone who rebukes a mocker will get an insult in return.
Anyone who corrects the wicked will get hurt.
8 So don’t bother correcting mockers;
they will only hate you.
But correct the wise,
and they will love you.
9 Instruct the wise,
and they will be even wiser.
Teach the righteous,
and they will learn even more.
